Almost Back

Computers are like people.... even though we may all have 2 arms and legs, were are otherwise very different. As you know from a previous post, computer woes struck the weather office last week. After many 911 calls to the support company we finally received a new hard drive. You would have thought it would be a simple out with the old, in with the new.... but no.

The inside of our tower had the drive bolted down as if a car thief was going to make off with it. That wasn't part of the plan! So there you have it, even though its the correct drive for the correct unit... it's not the same inside.

But thankfully our tech department (Steven Cejas) along with his support team (Steven Cejas) were able to dismantle and re-mantle (is that a word?) the unit and now we are in the process of loading all the info back into it. Hopefully by Tuesday we should be back up and running. Hopefully our back up has been working correctly and you have not noticed any major goofs.
