If you're a classic car lover, a car buff or even a four wheeling fanatic you were in Boca Raton this weekend at the Concourse d' Elegance of Boca Raton Fundraiser to benefit Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward County.
JAY LENO: "They invited me we did a little charity event last night and raised quite a bit of money for boys and girls club so thats great."
Jay Leno is known for being a funny guy but there is nothing funny about his love of classic cars and of the boys and girls clubs.
JAY LENO: "Well if you dont raise any money there is no boys and girls club, thats how it works."
Some functions roll out a red carpet this one rolled out classic Rolls Royces, muscle cars, and roadsters, but Jay didn't seem to mind he loved the cars and loved the cause.
JAY LENO: "A lot of kids dont know what they are interested in unless some adult shows them. Hey this is kind of cool."
The event was all about cars and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward, so who better than Broward car guru Rick Case to host it.
RICK CASE: "Its just been a wonderful event. People get to see Jay get to take their picture with Jay. They get to see 200 antique and classic cars 50 antique and classic motorcycles. The weather is great. What do you expect South Florida this time of year is just incredible."
There were people of all ages which is good 'cause there were cars and motorcycles of all ages too.
RICK CASE: "We're over 10,000 people here today. Ever since we opened the gates up at 100 we had people waiting. The car started coming in at 6 this morning and its just been absolutely spectacular."
One motorcycle and one car drove home with the Jay Leno big dog garage awards, but on this day the big winners were the kids at the Boys and Girls Clubs.
