Deco Features: Pubbelly
Here on Deco we love finding really cool things and sharing them with our 3 viewers, hi mom especially if there's food involved I have a new favorite restaurant on South Beach it's called Pubbelly. Thing fancy not a fabulous party scene just some of the food is some of the best I've ever tasted.
What's everybody cheering about? Pubbelly the hottest new restaurant on South Beach
LOUIS: "The pork belly dumplings are amazing. Amazing food amazing i love this place."
Pubbelly is a gastro-pub- a casual tavern specializing in outrageously good food. Not really a place to see and be seen this is for serious foodies only if you love food you'll love Pubbelly
LOUIS: "I come here like 3 times a week so the food is fantastic the service is great. I love it."
You know i had to check this out first hand.
ANDREAS SCHREINER: "its defintely a European gastropub with a little bit of Asian and Spanish influences."
Andreas Shreiner is a friend and fellow foodie. Having worked in restaurants all his life together he and partners chefs Jose Medin and Sergio Navarro have worked in some of the best restaurants around. It was their dream to one day team up and open their own place
JOSE MEDIN: "I love it I work for 15 years for have my have my first restaurnant. So you put your passion your heart everytnhing in here everytrhing everything in here."
Trust me you can taste the passion and love in every dish that comes out of the kitchen. The menu: tapas style with plates meant to be shared.
SERGIO NAVARRO: "It's coming in ordering a bunch of plates and sharing you wanna see people lemme try some of that lemme try some of that."
Yeah lemme try some of this bacon wrapped dates, stuffed with chorizo and goat cheese in a spicy tomato sauce...incredible.
LOUIS: "The marriage of flavors with the sweetneess of the date the smokiness of the bacon the creaminess of the goat cheese it just orgasmic."
Don't believe me, ask her.
LOUIS: "It exploded in my mouth my taste buds are bursting."
But wait, that's just foodie foreplay we're just getting started, the main ingredient here is pork belly, which is basically just bacon before it's been cured and you won't believe what they do with it. Check this out, pork belly dumplings with scallions in a shoyu onion marmalade sauce...rockstar.
LOUIS: "These are little bites of heaven they are so good- oh my god no way that's not legal."
Still hungry?- the pork belly confit with butterscotch sauce is not to be missed
LOUIS: "Oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god."
And that's why pubbelly is my new favorite restaurant on the beach.
