If you've ever wanted to star in your own music video, now's the time to do it with soup girl under my belt decided to undergo Pitbull's and Zumba's latest dance challenge where you basically do their music video and maybe win big bucks for it, and if iI can do it you can totally do it too.
Pitbull and Zumba fitness creator Beto Perez are teaming up to make you move.
PITBULL: "We've seen how powerful music was globally and how it speaks to everybody no matter what language they speak or culture they believe in. That's why Zumba and Pit run the same line, we run parallel because they do the same."
The two joined forces to create the "Do The Pause" contest. They took Pit's new song "Pause" and added Beto's dance steps to it. I caught up with Beto, who filled me in.
BETO PEREZ: "Louis you're goal is to get everyone to do this dance no matter where they are in the world, no matter what is going on, just take a "Pause" and do the pause."
First download the video on Youtube. Then learn it and send it in.
BETO PEREZ: "Beto they send like a video clip and wherever they want to do it, in the subway, Checzh Republic."
The winner gets $5,000 bucks to prove that anybody can do this dance. Beto taught it to me.
BETO PEREZ: "If you do this its easy, go, stop, drop."
Louis: "Brother, let me stop you for a second I cant even do the chicken dance."
This is gonna take a while.
BETO PEREZ: "Go, stop, drop pause, good the only think is more spicy."
They say practice makes pefect. I was doing pretty good till he added some salsa steps, but in the end I nailed it.
