It's ooey, it's gooey and ooh it's good. Really good. It's a grilled cheese sandwich but look closely this is not the grilled cheese mom used to make.

Say cheese actually say grilled cheese.

BRIAN MULLINS: "Who doesn't love grilled cheese? little kids love grilled cheese, adults love grilled cheese, it reminds you of when you were a kid. if you don't feel good it makes you feel better."

The Ms Cheezious food truck has one thing on the menu grilled cheese.

They've got 'em with fruit, with veggies and with meat.
But they have a specialty sandwich that's savory and sweet.

BRIAN MULLINS: "A bunch of people do chicken and waffles, and since we do grilled cheese sandwiches we decided to turn it into a grilled cheese."

A belgian waffle made on the spot and sandwiched between two pieces, a couple slices of cheddar fried chicken breaded while you wait.

With maple syrup and homemade gravy for dipping, I may need a bib the chicken and waffle grilled cheese is a special  so you have to follow them on twitter and facebook to see if it's on the menu.

BRIAN MULLINS: "Every time we run it as a special it goes like hot cakes."

Not hot cakes hot waffles. At Angelina's Coffee and Yogurt in Mid-Town grilled cheese is grown-up food. Really it is look at the menu.

DONALD VERNON: "Adult grilled cheese is a step up from a kid grilled cheese. we add vegetables, spices, nuts, different types of cheese."

With a menu of options, they're putting almost anything between two pieces of bread. And they've got one adult grilled cheese that is egg cellent.

DONALD VERNON: "It as a breakfast sandwich. bc it has pretty much everything you would have for breakfast in the sandwich."

With sun-dried tomatoes swiss bacon a sunny side egg and oregano. Your day will be sunny with this one. Leave the kids at home grilled cheese night is for grown ups

At Serendipity 3 on South Beach grilled cheese is 3 times the fun.

CHAD ELLIS: "It's called the triple decker grilled cheese . we put it on fresh brioche bread that's made here locally."

And this big 3 is 8 times the gooeyness.

CHAD ELLIS: "We use 8 slices of cheese, it's brie, cheddar, American and swiss. double the cheese you have on any others."

The 4 types of cheese melt together and the flavors meld together too.

CHAD ELLIS: "You are going to be able to tell some distinct flavors. the brie really stands out. it's a pasteurized brie. and the cheddar just adds some ooziness. the american is kind of the comfort food everyone is used to and the swiss gives it some sharp flavors."

They pair it with homemade tomato soup. Hot sandwich hot soup time to cool off.

You can't come here and not get their famous frozen hot chocolate.

The triple decker is cheesy times 3. Anyway you cut it. You're never too old for a grilled cheese sandwich.
