Deco just loves going north of the border and by border I mean the Dade Broward line and with the promise of good food we ventured up there and you know what?
We found a place you're going to want to tap into. Welcome to Tap 42 in Ft. Lauderdale what's in a name?
Well they didn't have to think too hard for this one.
BLAISE MCMACKIN: "My brother and i love craft beer. we decided to bring our passion to ft. lauder. area and open up a craft beer bar. we have 42 beers on tap, hence the name tap 42."
With all that beer you know there's some good bar food.
BLAISE MCMACKIN: "Pretty much your basic foods just bringing it up a few notches and having it more gourmet type."
They're mixing up mac and cheese by adding shrimp and you're gonna want to meet the salami bread sticks.
He caesar salad gets a kick with kale but it's the main meals like the "Tap 42 Burger," that keep people coming back. It's two patties topped with cheese, ham, an egg plus....
BLAISE MCMACKIN: "Fried green tomatoes and sweet onions, bib lettuce, pecan-smoked bacon on grilled texas toast."
With three types of pork three little piggy will have you squeal and the waldor" is more than a salad it's a turkey burger.
BLAISE MCMACKIN: "It's visually beautiful and tastes fantastic."
The wings for tap 42's death wing challenge are on fire. really they are.
COREY SUMMERS: "They make a sauce w/ the ghost chilies which are the hottest chilles on the planet the taste is a good flavor, but once it hits your lips and your mouth you start instantly sweating from the inside out.
