Deco Features: Pitch Perfect
"Pitch Perfect" came in sixth because it only opened in a few cities, including miami. But the few theaters it was in were packed. The movie isn't just a glee wannabe it's a comedy - with comedians you may already know. And a lot more you soon will.
Nelly and Bruno Mars remixed just one of fifty plus hits rockin' "Pitch Perfect"
Ester Dean is hiding in the back here in real life she writes songs for singers like Katy Perry and Ri Ri.
ESTER DEAN: "I was like oh this is S & M ha ha. Who's gonna sing that? And everyone was like you go on and sing it - I was like na na."
Did she get extra pay for singing her own song?
ESTER DEAN: "Damn right I did. No ugh, I got paid nicely. Go ahead. Ha ha."
Hana Mae Lee, whose character speaks in a whisper has some of the film's funniest moments.
HANA MAE LEE: "Huh..huh?..ugh uh.Hu-uh. Ahmm my humor comes from...tragedy."
But pitch is packed with funny peeps like comedy central's "Workaholic" Adam Devine. And the ever rebellious Rebel Wilson!
REBEL WILSON: "We're rasing acapella to a new level of coolness because when I was in high school I was part of an acapella group."
REBEL WILSON: "And yet when you see Acapella in our movie we make it look hot, sexy, like pretty damn frickin' cool."
