They're here the mass migration of luxury boutiques to the Miami design district is officially in full swing.
The champagne was flowing last night at Louis Vuitton very glamorous opening party in the heart of the design district. Everybody who was anybody was there- which is why deco had to crash.
Miami's hip, fabulous and fashionistas hot the Designdiresuict Thursday for the grand opening of the hot new Louis Vuittion Boutique.
"As far as fashion in unconcerned here its a huge step as to whats going top happen here. The transformation of the neighborhood. So its taken a huge step into what its actually going to become."
Valerie chapoulaud-floquet: "it has been an interesting project because it is a pioneer project for us and a new way to look at the Miami market."
La Masion de Louis not just about high end luxury goods, LV has a deep commitment to the arts. So a chic edgy urban design concept was essential- prolific street artist Retna- was hired to not just paint the facade but also design a scarf for the brand
Retna: "When they asked me if i wanted work with them obviously I said yes I was very excored about it,. Very honored to do it."
