Yeah, reilly, really is one of the most versatile actors in Hollywood so he had to take on the role of "Wreck It Ralph" cause the director created it just for him.
John C. Reilly is tired of being bad guy "Wreck-it Ralph" in an arcade game where Jack Mcbrayer's "fix-it felix" is the hero.
So Raplh ditches his game questing through others to prove he's got the heart of a hero.
JOHN C. REILLY: "This character is just so sweet. He starts out as this kind of lovable dufus."
But he tests his Mettle trying to earn a medal as a hero in other games like Ralph. reilly wasn't so keen on the gig at first.
JOHN C. REILLY: "The process of doing animated films is often kind of gestures hermetic and you don't get a lot of play time with any of the other actors So that didn't sound attractive to me."
But the character just screamed for reilly.
JOHN C. REILLY: "I was really encouraged to bring my own heart kind of to the character and we improvised a lot."
And Jane Lynch's Captain Calhoun suits her too.
JANE LYNCH: "Yeah, I said model it after this. Both look at poster behind) And they came pretty close."
JACK MCBRAYER: Muscle tone. I love the thigh muscle tone."
JANE LYNCH: And you have a waistline. Yes. Isn't that nice. yeah. And the breast plates if you will. Ha ha ha. Awesome."
No wonder he's fix it felix.
