When it comes to the environment, the Greenhouse effect is bad when it comes to dinner, the Green House effect is good.
Green House organic restaurant is putting a brand new spin on eating healthy and the words TV dinner.
These dishes don't look like your average organic offerings, do they?
At Green House organic restaurant in North Miami Beach, chef Marcello Marino is mixing health and elegance to create a dining experience par excellence.
MARCELLO MARINO: "Now there was always this misunderstanding that organic has to be boring. Well we're just showing you that this is a completely different thing we are French trained chefs and we follow the french cuisine."
This is organic on a whole other level.
MARCELLO MARINO: "We use products that are completely out of the box you can find ostrich you can find rabbit you can find venison you can find wild boar. Our octopus is coming from Portugal. Our sturgeon I mean we have from around the world all these products that are shipped to us every day."
The food isn't the only thing that's fresh at Green House you order your meal on your own personal i-pad, then watch it being whipped up in the kitchen on TV.
MARCELLO MARINO: "Those TV's are live so basically you can be sitting at your seat and you can see how they prepare your food, so you cannot be more transparent than that."
The kitchen is an open book and that's just the way the chef likes it.
MARCELLO MARINO: "One of the things that we want to do at green house is to show transparency I want people to feel comfortable when they come to eat what they eat and how it's prepared."
Chef Marcello and his staff know all eyes are on them can they take the heat in the kitchen?. You bet they can.
MARCELLO MARINO: "We like pressure because we believe in what we do we're very confident in what we do and there's nothing we hide."
Marcello takes a pro-active approach to everything he plates.
MARCELLO MARINO: "I mean I go to the tables a lot O always speak with my customers and trust me sometimes the feedback is not the best and it's perfectly fine i take the feedback and try to fix it."
