Want to get away from it all? Now you can without leaving the beach. There's a new Italian restaurant in So. Flo. that does more than please your palate. At Tosca, the food and the surroundings are both a trip worth taking.

There's a new eatery in South Beach that's part restaurant, part time machine Tosca serves up fine food in a most romantic setting owner Stephan Fortier explains.

STEPHAN FORTIER: "Tosca is a concept we created to transport our guests into another time and another place."

At Tosca, your heart is as important as your taste buds.

STEPHAN FORTIER: "We tried to create something based around romanticism which we think is something really missing in this city."

Ladies, listen up Stephan did it all for you.

STEPHAN FORTIER: "We wanted to design something that was a magical experience for women."

Yeah, it was all about magic with a little practicality thrown in.

STEPHAN FORTIER: "At the end of the day a lot of the time women decide where to go eat and men basically don't have much of a choice."

Tosca's signature dish, parmegan wheel linguini is to die for. It's made right at your table.

STEPHAN FORTIER: "We cut a parmegan wheel in half. We melt the parmegan with a burner toss the linguini in it, we pour a mascarpone cream sauce on top of it and we shave albert truffles on top of it so it's an amazing dish."

If pasta's not your thing, you can dive head-first into the super-fresh seafood platter. Or experience ecstasy with the melt-in-your-mouth kobe beef.

The food's not cheap, but you can take your time savoring your meal.

STEPHAN FORTIER: "When you come to Tosca you have your table for the night we only do one seating a night."

At Tosca, food and love go hand-in-hand.
