Actually "Identity Theft" is a very serious problem that affects thousands of households every year some impostors are caught, but there are many still at large.
Kinda feels like its 6:30 all over again -- but wait! You're not Mike Marza thats because in our case Melissa McCarthy and Jason Bateman's new comedy "Identity Thief" is the closest we'll ever get to talking about it.
Its all fun and games until your identity gets stolen.
Suddenly your credit is ruined, and you are wanted by the police for fraud.
MELISSA MCCARTHY: "Jason plays Patterson who's a really good guy, family guy, works hard to take care of his family and then unfortunately has someone."
Jason - "A dirty rotten thief that has taken his identity."
MELISSA MCCARTHY: "Steals his idenity, destroys his credit takes all his money."

Jason - "She plays a heartwarming criminal although it takes us a while to get to the warm part, she's pretty cold blooded at the beginning.."
When Melissa's character Diana steals Sandy Patterson's identity, he decides to chase her down and make her confess to her crimes
Buuuut catching a criminal isn't that easy especially when she gets violent!
This movie is full of smackdowns and the cast had to roll with the punches.
MELISSA MCCARTHY: "Weird crazy bruises that looked like cars were running over me Just sore like crazy, getting up and I was like OHHH my god, like there was always weird muscles, big muscles pulled..."
Jason - "She made this bleed twice."
Apparently, the animosity between their characters translated pretty well to real life.
MELISSA MCCARTHY: "He threw me down on the high way."
Jason: "Well..."
MELISSA MCCARTHY: "Violently."
Jason: "For the betterment of the movie."
MELISSA MCCARTHY: "Agressively, not scripted."
Jason: "It was a funny throw."
MELISSA MCCARTHY: "Not supposed to happen, just someone's adrenaline and testosterone got going."
Jason: "Well whats funnier than a..."
MELISSA MCCARTHY: "Two fistfulls of my shirt and threw me down... right?"
Jason: "We're making a comedy...and what is funnier than a woman hitting asphalt."
Lucky for Jason, Melissa knows how to take a hit and a joke.
