They call champagne the nectar of the Gods. And since the Gods love South Florida, what better place than here for Veuve Cliquot to start their cross-country champagne tour.

The champagne flowed in Fort Lauderdale last night, Veuve Vlicquot kicked off its National Airstream Tour at YOLO. It's the beginning of a very bubbly cross-country journey.

JULIE ANDERSSON: "This is the first stop of our national tour and we're partnering around with local restaurants and supporters to create fun exciting events with clicquot and airstream."

Clicquot has hit the road for a very simple reason.

JULIE ANDERSSON: "It's a fun way to really connect with our consumers."

Consuming copious amounts of champagne usually leads to exciting interaction especially if you're hanging with your bff's inside a tricked-out airstream travel trailer.

JULIE ANDERSSON: "So the airstream is outfitted custom all-clicquot inside and people can go and hang out and chill out. There's TVs there is a lounge, and you can just enjoy the airstream enjoy your glass of clicquot."

If you didn't make it to YOLO last night, you can still catch the tour and the pop-up champagne bar when it hits the 305 this weekend.

JULIE ANDERSSON: "We are going to be at the Keith haring Miami exhibition down in the design district in miami."

Don't miss this thirst-quenching opportunity.

JULIE ANDERSSON: "Veuve Clicquot is the perfect champagne for any occasion any weather so it's perfect for Florida."
