Shireen on the Scene: Winterfest Black Tie Ball
Posted: 12/11/12
Archived Reports:
We hear it was one wicked night at the Winterfest Black Tie Ball this year. It doesn't get any better than Broadway, the sugar hill gang & lots of hampagne or does it? Deco's good witch "Gilda Sandoval" crashed the bash on her broom.
The Winterfest Black Tie Ball: At the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel And Casino is one of my favorite bashes of the year. With bubbles, baubles and broadway, it defintely cast a spell that I hear can only be broken if you attend the boat parade.
It was one wicked, wonderful and a bit wild Winterfest black tie ball at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, in Hollywood.
PHIL MADOW: "This is a great opportunity to showcase what we have to offer, not just here at the property the Hollywood Seminole Hard Rock And Casino, but I think the elegance of the event, which really kicks off the season, going into 41st year. Amazing tradition."
Wicked was the theme: With performers from the actual Broadway show.
LISA SCOTT: "It sets a holiday theme, but yet, everybody has a musical memory that is special to them. We've got the Sugar Hill Gang, we've got the Witches from Broadway."
Everyone looked good gussied up at the JM Lexus welcome reception:
JIM DUNN: "It's another great year of bringing things to the community. I know my wife looks forward to doing every year cause she gets to dress up."
And what would a ball be without some bubbly?
"Moet Chandon they are the best. It's the finest champagne, they partnered with us this year, and how perfect with the bubbles."
Shireen: "I love the bottles wih the funnel."
Guy: "We call it the mini flute, no glasware necessary cheers."
Bubbles & bling from Carroll's jewelry
Shireen: "I'm always jealous of your jewlery BTW."
Lisa: "How lucky am I. Zola Keller dresses me, and my jewelry from Carroll Jewelers, just amazing."
I bid in the fidelity investments silent auction I charged it to Deco, don't tell.
While hosting. I take care of my peeps. I didn't need to doing anything though, for WSVN'S Lily Pardo, aka the belle of the ball. Snap.
WSVN'S general manager & Winterfest chairman Bob Leider, helmed the boat, actually it was more like a stage.
At the end of the ball, it was time to bust a' move, with the sugar hill gang.
Ha...this was wicked done just right can we do it again?
Also a big thank you to southern wine & spirits. Don't miss the Winterfest Boat Parade, this Saturday, in Fort Lauderdale. Lynn & Louis, you two float my boat.
