Humane Society of Broward County’s “19th Annual Walk for the Animals” presented by VCA Animal Hospitals. The event, chaired by Brian Mora of Plantation and Nancy Vaniman of Dania Beach, will take place on Saturday, March 7th at a new location, Huizenga Plaza in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. and the 1.25 mile walk begins at 10:00 a.m. People can walk with or without a dog. Help raise money to support the shelter and its programs, while earning goodies for your self. Last year $475,000 was raised and with your support, this walk is sure to be the biggest ever!Brian encourages everyone who wants to help the animals to participate. “You can walk as an individual or as a “Pack” or team, which is what my company is doing. By forming a “Pack” and raising the required $1,500 you’ll receive special perks including a pack photo and sign to walk with. It is a great way to do something good for the community while building employee team spirit.”
