(WSVN) -- From clothes to cars - maps to mopeds.. shoppers can find most anything on the web.

"Basically, I do it because of the discounts, I think it's fun to be able to shop from home. There's wonderful selection and it's very easy."

When Eileen Raftery wants to save money on the latest trends, she logs on to her favorite site.

Eileen says, "Blue Fly is wonderful you can go in if you have a favorite designer and type the name in and see all the wonderful selections."

Wonderful selections with wonderful prices.

She says, "The discount is good, its any where from 25-75% and they have semi annual sales."

You can also find amazing savings at overstock.com.

It offers everything from clothing to video games... sometimes at a quarter of the price.

Or check out smartbargains.com. You can buy some of the hottest name brands for ninety percent off.

But if clothes aren't your thing and you're looking to replace something really valuable, then why not go to replacements.com.

"It was my good china from 25 years ago and I searched all over and I couldn't find it, I just typed it in and found out that they had some pieces and I had it within a week."

But if you think that's impressive, wait till you hear what's next on the net.

"They'll make things more 3 dimensional, it will roatate 360 degrees so you can see how it will look on your figure."

Dr. Lewis Temares is the chief information officer at the University of Miami.

He says the internet will allow customers to try on clothing without ever being there.

"Eventually, they will have holograms and it will come out of the site, it will be coming towards you to see how it fits and how it looks on you."

But in the mean time, if you're worried about buying clothes on the web.

"There are so many sites out there that you could possibly get a better deal, different sites have different deals."

Remember when you shop on line you don't pay sales tax. In Miami-Dade County's case - that's 7 percent.
