All More Bang for Your Buck

Do you find yourself waiting on the phone or online to buy concert tickets? Well, we're going to show you the best way to buy the best seats in the house without paying a fortune.

(WSVN) -- James Taylor, Christina Aguillera and Justin Tibmerlake - Even Americas favorite dad, Ozzy Osborne . you can see them all in South Florida this summer - if you can afford the tickets.

Concert-goer, Bruce Hornstien says, "I'm not going to spend a lot of money for tickets where I'm in the rafters."

And you don't have to.

Like a lot of us, Bruce Horton loves seeing live music.

Bruce says, "I pick and choose the best ones and I try to get the best price and try to get a good seat."

But to ensure that good seat, don't solely rely on the ticket outlets.

Instead, many artists reserve select seats on their website.

"It's not like it used to be where you could just wait in line or walk up to an outlet and get the best seats for a show. It doesn't work like that anymore."

The way things work today, most of the good seats are gone even before they go on sale.

Todd Rubin of Todd's Tickets says, "It's hard because the promoters hold back any good seats originally for sponsorships or radio stations."

Hard but not impossible.

Many promoters will pre-sell select tickets online for a fee. Check out websites like pre sale info - dot - com.

Plus many credit card companies pre-sell seats to their preferred customers.

And if that doesn't work, think outside the area code.

When tickets go on sale, try dialing up an outlet outside of South Florida.

You'll probably get quicker results without having to fight other fans.

"I'll go on on the internet and sometimes I'll have my wife on the telephone and she'll be calling locally and if she can't get through locally well sometimes call Orlando or some of the smaller cities in South Florida."

And if you're lucky, you just might have enough money left for a T-shirt.
