All More Bang for Your Buck

It can be one of the quickest ways to get rich and one of the most dangerous. If you're hoping Wall Street makes you wealthy, there plenty of so-called penny stocks with great potential. In tonight's more bang for your buck, we found some steals and deals well worth a second look.

WSVN -- Check out this picture: Would you be willing to invest with this bunch?

Well today, a few thousand dollars in their start-up company called Microsoft would net you millions.

If only you knew now what you know then. When it comes to Wall Street there's no such thing as a sure thing.

But there are many underrated and undervalued stocks.

Ken Gruneisen: "The economic conditions are actually not bad."

Ken Gruneisen founder of the web site canslim.net says going low cost can be both risky and rewarding.

Topping his list of hot stocks under $10 dollars is gas and energy giant petroquest energy.

Ken: "It has really good earnings and has been in the oil and gas group where there it has been a really strong group where there has been a lot of winners lately."

Speaking of winners, you are bound to hit the jackpot with century casinos.

This company runs gaming resorts around the world.

Ken: "It's earnings growth is better than 91 percent of companies out there over the last three to five years."

Healthcare is also a big area for growth. One company setting a new high is American Medical Alert. It provides 24-hour emergency monitoring products.

Ken: "It's not tough to beat two cents per share but up 50 percent from the year earlier starts to get people excited."

Also worth watching is pain care holdings. It is expanding into the hot market of minimally invasive treatments.

Ken: "Medical related stocks have really been some of the star performers this year."

Another star performer is Health Fitness Corporation. It offers businesses on-site fitness programs.

Ken: "Sales increases revenues have been up in the neighborhood of 60 or 70 percent quarter after quarter for the last four quarters."

And finally, we all know retail stocks are also usually a good buy. But this year, ken says move over Wal-Mart. The wholesale club Cost-U-Less will cost you a lot less.

Ken: The stock really caught our attention late last year. Really high earnings per share, puts it up there are one of the better companies out there."

Another tip, Ken says if you notice a drop of 10 percent in any stock, consider selling to limit your damage.
