Maribel Cordova Ramirez of Miami world travel says if you really want the best deal. Ramirez says, "I think they have to search a little harder."
One of the best resources -- the internet. Sites like hotels.com, Expedia, and Orbitz offer some awesome rates that are hard to find.
"Sometimes you can save as much as 70 % on the room rate," says Ramirez.
We found a real steal at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. A room that usually sells for two hundred dollars a night - just under 98 dollars on the web.
Another great way to save when you go to a big city, stay away from other tourists.
Ramirez says, "You might be able to get a better weekend rate in a city destination because the hotels are more empty at that time."
And if you want to take a short road trip, disney is offering rates that are so good they're goofey.
At Disney the Florida resident rates are going on until the middle of August. You can find a great room for as low as 69 bucks! or there's always the Keys.
Cheeca Lodge for those of you who like to fish if they want to go down to the keys - they have excellent rates.
Right now if you stay Sunday through Wednesday - you can save almost $100 dollars!
