(WSVN) Working out -- for some it's a breeze. Ellen Latham a fitness expert, says, "I usually go to the gym - I have different workout routines that I follow."

For others they don't workout because they can't afford a gym membership. Latham says, "I don't work out because the gyms, they're really expensive here in Miami." But you can't use that excuse anymore!

Latham goes on to say, "You can pick up all kinds of gadgets that are out there at a minimal cost to get a good pump on your muscles and a good pump on your heart."

Fitness expert -- Ellen Latham shows us a great workout you can do at home.

First the tools. You will need a weighted bar, dumbbells, a towel, a chair, a stability ball, and resistance bands. First start with the weight bar it costs about 35 dollars.

"You're squatting, we're working the lower body, the thighs, the back end here -- the weight is on the heel you're coming up and down."

Then keep working your legs using a kitchen towel. It's called a gliding lunge you'll slide the leg on the towel back and then up again.

Next, work the chest and triceps with a 20-dollar stability ball.

"Here we go, we're gonna do a push up, you're holding your abdominals in lifting through here."

Work biceps with dumb bells -- 2 sets cost about $20. A 10-dollar resistance band will work your back. Wrap the band around the chair legs and and put your feet against the legs.

"Palms are facing in and now bring your elbows back and bring it forward- so what you're doing is your working all these muscles around the back here."

For your abs -- use the stability ball again. All you do is lay on your back and do crunches to work your waist line. As for your cardio workout. That's free, just go outside and walk, run, or swim for about 20 minutes.

To save even more, hit yard sales. A lot of workout equipment can be found for just a few dollars. Now you have no excuse -- get out and workout -- with these tips will save you hundreds.
