After 55 years, there's nothing fishy about the way this place does business.
"These three boats all fish for our company here. They bring in stone crab, Florida lobster....all of our fish, our grouper, snapper, dolphin, and they bring it in daily."
"Meduim, select, large, jumbo, hmm which to choose. I'll give you one guess where Our Viewers Chose for The Best Seafood in all of South Florida. Add on the famous hash browns, the cole slaw, and top it off with the famous key lime pie and you know you are at Joe's."
That's right, we all know Joe's Famous Stone Crabs have become a South Florida institution.
Laurie: "And what makes the seafood specifically the best?"
"You can eat stone crabs anywhere in town, they just don't have the taste of joe's stone crabs, you can eat mustard sauce anywhere in town it just doesn't have the tanginess of Joe's mustard sauce. You can eat butter anywhere else in town and it just doesn't taste the same."
But it's not just about the stone crabs anymore.
Joe's has bigger fish to fry."
A massive piece of fish that is cooked to perfection everytime i eat, it's nice little seared and maybe it's a little sweet for people, but it's excellent."And for the first time in a long time, it will be available year-round
