All The Best of South Florida

No matter what your cravings. Or how big your appetite. We're serving up the best buffets in South Florida.

(WSVN) -- Grab a plate... Add a few things you like, a few things you'd like to try... And well, what the heck, a few more things - just for the fun of it.

Now, sit down, enjoy, and indulge in South Florida's Best Buffets.

"You get a lot of different kind of meat like poultry, fish, beef so it's like an orgy."

Make that a culinary orgy you'll only find at our viewers' Third Choice, Porcoa (pronounced poor cow) in downtown Miami.

"The name is Porcoa which means "big pig" in Portuguese."

"You can stay all day long here eating, like pig out."

That's right, you can pig out on grilled salmon, lamb, chicken, turkey, filet mignon and the list goes on and on.

"We always come here because we believe the food is amazing. You have all the salad and the way they serve the meat it's very good. It's something that is not so usual here in the states."

Not so usual because this Brazilian-born star has a unique serving style.

Here as the delicacies swarm around you, you can either give in with green or resist with red.

"You take a little break, relax and then you go back to green. We keep feeding you until you say please no more, stop bringing me food."

You'll get plenty of colorful combinations at Our Runner-Up, Sweet Tomatoes in Pembroke Pines.

"We want people to feel good when they leave because they feel good about what they eat."

That good feeling starts with a 55-foot salad bar packed with fresh, wholesome vegetables.

"We also have huge, big-chunk chicken noodle. Huge big pieces of chicken that we have in the chicken noodle soup that you have never seen anywhere else that's for sure."

"They really do taste like they're homemade so the quality of the food is definitely above some of the other buffet places."

That's quality and quantity.

At this place, even the kids will smile.

"I feel better because there is healthier food for them. There's a lot of choices and we know they're eating something that's good for them."

But if your taste buds are chomping for Chinese cuisine, satisfy your senses at Our Grand Prize Winner - Emerald Coast in Sunny Isles.

"The people that work here are very friendly, very good service, very fast."

And very efficient, with 8 buffet stations and 6 separate dining rooms.

"Lots of food. I expect to come in here hungry and leave full."

"All our items are prepared fresh daily. It's not like we have it pre cooked as we need it we cook it. So it's always fresh and hot."

But for supreme selection, the real steal comes on the weekends.

"We have Alaskan snow crab, fresh oysters, grilled salmon, grilled jumbo shrimp scampi style as well as middle neck calms in garlic sauce."

And when you're done, why not cheat on dessert?

"The desserts are nicely detailed to begin with and they have this juicy layer of cheese with chocolate and crumbs."

Now, that's a finale you'll never forget.

Next week... start wiggling your toes... because we'll show you where to find the Best Pedicure.
