All The Best of South Florida

It's part socialization, part recreation. According to our viewers, there's only one activity where you'll hear of middle-aged men, women kids and even celebrities all having fun. Here's 7's Shireen Sandoval with the Best Bowling Alleys in South Florida.

(WSVN) -- Talk about a sport on roll.

Whether it's an adult league or family fun, it's time to get your mind out of the gutter.

We found a sport that can be summed up by two words: Rental shoes!

"People don't go to the movies anymore, they come bowling."

And you'll love to go bowling at Our Viewers' Number Three Pick - Cloverleaf Bowl in North Miami.

"I like the lanes. It's nice. It's clean in here so its good."

So good because there's so much to do.

You can even play pool in between frames.

"We like it because it's smaller, nice family atmosphere, very friendly people."

And very intense competition.

You could say the bowlers here "spare" nothing to chance.

"We offer a sport that can be enjoyed by all ages regardless of your size, your shape, and your ability."

They even offer something called rave bowling at night.

It's in the dark, it's loud, and it's for the kids.

"It's like a nightclub, but its bowling too."

They love their bowling at Our Second Selection - Bird Bowl in Coral Gables.

"It's always a great time here."

Always a great time for young and old.

They even have guard rails to protect your child's ball from going in the gutter.

"It happens to be one of the most up to date, renovated facilities in town."

That's for sure.

Just check out the scorepad.

And if anything should break...

"If there's a problem, we take care of it right away."

But if you really want to be bowled over then you have to go to Our Top Spot - Don Carter's Kendall Lanes in Kendall.

"This is the best place in Miami to come to bowl."

Boy is it ever.

Just listen and you hear the sound of the strike.

Now, that's one cooked turkey.

"It's fun, the people are great, you make a lot of great friends everytime you bowl."

And you can bowl just about any time.

Don Carter's has 72 lanes.

"We are able to accommodate large groups as well as small groups."

And when you're done, why not play in the game room or have something to eat at Blondies.

"We have a good time here."

"Anytime's the best time to go bowling."

Next week, the best of South Florida begins a new chapter.

We're going to show you the Area's Top Bookstore.

Also, we are now accepting votes for the Best Place To Buy Halloween Decorations.
