All The Best of South Florida

This is the perfect time to add a little spice to your life. Ask any sports bar, buffalo wings are in high demand now that football season is here. But if you want a real flavor to savor, then you have to try the best of South Florida.

(WSVN) If you want  a meal that's hot, hot, hot... then don't be chicken.

Buffalo wings are all the rage.

These little drumsticks pack so much punch, you can burn your mouth just looking at them.

"I like them, but they have to be prepared in a special way."

"They're pretty much cooked the way I want them to be."

And you can get just about any kind you want at our viewers third choice - NMB Ale House in North Miami Beach.

N-M-B offers a wide variety of sauces including mild, medium, hot, and Mount St. Helens.

"It's the spices."

"It goes real good with beer."

You better be able to quench your thirst after eating these zingers.

N-M-B is so popular, they serve fifteen hundred pounds of wings a week.

"I like to dip them in the blue cheese."

"It's a unique flavor and taste."

It would be an understatement to call our second choice unique. That honor belongs to Hooters... where the customers promise they're only interested in the food.

"Just for the wings. I wouldn't come here for any other reason."

We almost believe you, considering Hooters wings are served in an extra special breading, not to mention, a delicious sauce.

"They're like potato chips. You eat one, you can't put em down."

And we've been told the service is pretty popular too.

"I love Hooters. Hooters is the best."

But if you're looking for the best of South florida, our viewers' top pick is Rooties in Coconut Creek.

"This is the authentic chicken wing."

It's uncomparable. It's distinct."

That's for sure. Rooties is different because after frying their wings, they grill 'em.

But the secret...

"The secrets in the sauce."

Rooties sauce is so well-liked, you can even buy it by the bottle.

Just remember, if you make your own wings at home, they may not taste exactly the same.

Rooties can be imitated but never duplicated.

"We came here just for the wings."

"They're not greasy, theyre good wings, good bbq sauce on them."

Next week, some more food for thought. We'll show you how to start the day off right with the best breakfast in South Florida.

Also don't forget to vote for the best halloween costume shop.
