Thanksgiving is almost here. But if you don't want to spend your holiday in the kitchen, put the pots and pans away. Tonight, our viewers suggest trying a new family tradition with all the trimmings. They've chosen the Best Thanksgiving Dinners in South Florida - heavy on the gravy.

(WSVN) Thanksgiving means the big parade, football, and food.

But you can now have that home cooking taste without the hassle.

For a flavor you wont forget, the next best thing to mom's cooking is the Best Of South Florida.

"If I'm in Miami for Thanksgiving, I'll be here,"

"I was thinking of coming here for Thanksgiving because I saw the turkey here and it looked excellent."

That tasty turkey can only be found at our viewers' third choice - The Rusty Pelican on Key Biscyane.

"We cook about 40 turkeys and feed about a thousand people."

And we promise those people will never go home hungry.

"I've had thanksgiving here, I enjoy everything from the ham, the turkey, the stuffing, the cranberry."

"The deserts were out of this world."

But from a full plate to a full stomach, be careful. That turkey temptation can lead to post-holiday pounds.

"It looks like we'll have to go to the gym, but the experience was definitly worth it."

You'll never forget the experience at our second pick - La Careeta in Hialeah... where it's Thanksgiving with a Cuban theme.

"Its the traditional Latin cuisine with no tricks no punches, no changes, and thats what guys like me grew up on."

"Like mom's kitchen."

Then again not even mom couldn't make stuffing like this.

"We put in ham and other little things that are secrets to La Carretta."

But the real secret here involves a delicious turkey dinner you'll find know where else.

"They shred it with green peppers, onions, all that good stuff, plenty of spices."

And plenty of customers know this Cuban cuisine can turn any holiday into a fiesta.

"Once we came once we just kept comimg back for the last 10 years"

"No body asked for my vote. If you had asked for my vote, I will give it to La Caretta"

But the votes are in and if your looking for the absolute best Thanksgiving turkey, then you have to look at the Biltmore Hotel for a feast you could only find in Miami.

"Look at this ambiance its absolutley unbelievable and the food is spectacular."

"You have the outdoor experience. You're in nature."

That experience is even more exceptional thanks to a Thanksgiving dinner pefect for a Pilgrim.

"I think they have nine different food stations. A special carving station with turkey. It's spectacular."

"The food is both quantity but more important quality, everything they have is very very special."

And very, very filling.

"Then you roll out and don't eat for 2 days."

We'll toast to that.

"The champagne helps, the Mimosas help. It's poured freely."

Next week, what do you do with the kids during christmas vacation? We'll show you the Best Museums.

Plus don't forget to vote. We want to know where to find the Best Place to Meet Santa.
