Bite with Belkys: Dulce De Leche Panqueque

Dulce De Leche Panqueque. It's a South American dessert that is drawing customers to a new Aventura restaurant.

The Dish: Dulce de Leche Panqueque a.k.a. Dulce de Leche Crepe


Crepe Ingredients:
5 eggs
3 cups milk
2 cups flour
3 ounces butter
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Other Ingredients:
1 can Dulce de Leche or any filling you choose
Vanilla icecream
Caramel and chocolate sauce garnish

 

Directions:

Put all the crepe ingredients into a blender and mix for five minutes.  Let the batter settle for five minutes.  Pour 4 ounces or a ladle full of batter into a 10 inch hot fry pan. Cook each side for a few minutes, then let it cool for another two minutes. Place the filling inside.  Roll up the crepe, and serve it with carmel and chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream.
