Get ready for some good grillin'. We're learning how to make a fabulous beef dish full of flavor and spice. A favorite in Argentina -- being made in America. A savory skirt steak served with a special sauce. Time to grab a bite with Belkys.

The Dish: Argentinian Style Skirt Steak With Chimichurri Sauce
Steak
Ingredients:
- 14 oz skirt steak
- 1 tbspn thyme
- 1 tbspn oregano
- 4 oz olive and vegetable oil
- pinch of white pepper
- salt
Directions:
-Marinade the meat with thyme, oregano, oil, a pinch of white pepper and salt and let it sit for about an hour.
-Once the meat is marinaded, set it on a medium high grill and grill it for about 5 minutes if medium rare, 8 minutes medium well and 12-15 minutes for well-done.
-While grilling, season the meat with more salt and pepper and baste it with oil or butter to keep it moist.
Chimichurri sauce
Ingredients:
- 1 bunch chopped Italian parsley
- 1 tbspn chopped oregano
- 1 tsp garlic
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1 fresh lime
- pinch of red crushed pepper
- pinch of salt and pepper
- 4 oz red wine vinegar
- 4 oz vegetable or olive oil
Directions:
-Chop parsley and oregano and blend them together.
-Put the herbs in a bowl and add red crushed pepper, garlic, brown sugar, red wine vinegar, oil, salt, white pepper and lime and whisk it all.
Tomato Mojo
Ingredients:
- 1 cup tomato paste
- 1 cup diced tomato
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 2 tbsp. lime juice
- 1 cup olive oil
- pinch black pepper
Directions:
-Put all of the ingredients on a food processor for a few minutes.
-Serve the steak and garnish it with chimichurri sauce and put the tomato mojo sauce on the sauce. -Serve the steak with steak fries.
