The Dish: Stir Fry Chicken

Ingredients for the Thai Sauce:

1 Tablespoon of minced garlic
3 Tablespoon of oyster sauce
1 Tablespoon of Hoisin
2 Tablespoon of Teriyaki
1 Tablespoon of ginger ground
The juice of half a lemon

Method of Preparation:

-Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix them together.

Ingredients for the Stir Fry Chicken:

8 ounce boneless chicken breast
1/2 cup of flour
1/2 cup of olive oil
1 pound of mixed veggies
1 cup of onions, chopped
1/2 cup of red pepper, chopped
1/2 cup of green pepper, chopped
1 cup of mushrooms
1 1/2 cup of Thai stir sauce
2 cups of basmati rice, cooked

Method of Preparation:

-Start by slicing some chicken breasts into strips. Then coat them with flour.

-Next, pour olive oil into a hot pan and cook the chicken strips for about three minutes. Chef David says you can also try using steak, shrimp and fish.

-Now add mixed veggies, onions, red and green peppers and mushrooms to the pan.

-Once the veggies are cooked, pour in some white wine and the Thai sauce mixture.

To Plate the Dish:

Chef David likes to start with a plate of rice and then tops it with the stir fry chicken. You can garnish with some fresh chopped parsley.

Serving Suggestion: Pinot Grigio
