All Bite with Belkys

It is a recipe just in time for football season. We're taking you to one restaurant where the chef is showing us how to make mouth-watering barbecue ribs, and the ribs come with a sweet treat. Time to grab A Bite With Belkys.

The Chef: Shane Thompson

The Dish: Barbecue Ribs and Peach Cobbler

Ingredients for Barbecue Rids:

1 rack of baby back ribs
5 tbs. of Shane's sauce or barbecue sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Water

Method of Preparation:

-Start by seasoning a rack of baby back ribs. Chef Shane uses his own special seasoning salt but says salt and pepper will do.

-Now, at the restaurant, he puts the ribs in a smoker for three and a half hours.

-Lastly, place the ribs on the grill. Add some water for moisture and barbecue sauce.

Serves: 2

Ingredients for Peach Cobbler:

2 cans of peaches, 16 oz.
1 cup of sugar
1 stick of butter
1 cup of self-rising flour

Method of Preparation:

-Begin with a pan of canned peaches. Then add a cup of milk and stir.

-Next, in a large bowl, combine flour, sugar and butter. Add the mixture over the peaches to form a crust.

-Let it bake in a 350 degree oven for about 45 minutes.

Serves: 6-8

To Plate the Dish:

At the restaurant they serve the baby back ribs on a plate and the peach cobbler in a small dish.

Serving Suggestion: Sweet Tea
