If your looking for a nice place to relax, have wine tasting and good food, we found a new hot spot that is doing this and more. Tonight, the chef is showing us how to make one of his most popular spanish tapas. Time to grab a Bite with Belks.

The Dish: Garbanzo Salad

Ingredients:

3/4 cup of garbanzo beans (chickpeas)

3 Tbs of carrot, diced

3 Tbs of celery Stalk, diced

2 tsp red onion, diced

3 Tbs of roasted red pepper, diced

juice of 1 lemon

2 Tbs of extra virgin olive oil

1 Tbs of Italian parsley, chopped

1 pinch of kosher salt

1 pinch of ground black pepper

3 Tbs of dried chorizo

2 Tbs of feta cheese

Method of Preparation:

-Begin with cooked garbanzo beans (chickpeas). Combine them in a bowl with carrots, celery, red onion and roasted red peppers.

-Then, add lemon juice, extra virgin olive oil, parsley, kosher salt and ground black pepper.

-Next, dice spanish dried chorizo into small pieces and warm it up in a hot pan.

To Plate:

Serve the garbanzo salad and top it with the chorizo. Also, add crumbled feta cheese and parsley.

Serves: 1

Serving Suggestion: Sauvignon Blanc
