Bite with Belkys: Broccoli, carrots and cheese from Chef Adrianne's
Thanksgiving is one week away. A South Florida chef has a recipe to impress your family. Time to grab a Bite with Belkys.
The Restaurant: Chef Adrianne's
The Dish: Broccoli, Carrots and Cheese
6.5 oz. of Spinach & Artichoke Spreadable Cheese
½ cup of heavy cream, hot
1 cup of fresh broccoli
1 cup of baby carrots
1-2 tsp of butter
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
Method of Preparation:
-Begin by making a cheese sauce. In a bowl, Chef Adrianne combines a spinach and artichoke soft cheese with hot heavy cream. Season this with salt and pepper.
-Then, in a baking pan add broccoli, carrots and slices of butter. Bake this in a 450 degree oven for about five to seven minutes.
Simply pour the cheese sauce over the vegetables and garnish with a cilantro infused olive oil and microgreens.
