The Dish: Penne Putanesca
The Ingredients:
2 tbs. olive oil
3/4 cup diced tomatoes
1 clove chopped garlic
1 filet of anchovy
1 tbs. capers
1 tbs. butter
2 tbs. calamata olives
1 sprig chopped basil
1/4 cup white wine
4 tbs. marinara sauce
The Steps:
In hot pan add olive oil then add garlic, anchovies, diced tomatoes, olives, capers, butter and white wine. Let reduce and add basil and marinara sauce. Let it simmer for about 4 to 5 minutes. Add penne pasta, toss and serve.
