Bite with Belkys: China Steak And Noodles
You can't beat a good steak. But when you add noodles and some asian spices, a good steak becomes sensational. Time to fire up the grill for a Bite with Belkys.
10 Ounce Skirt Steak
Lo Mein Noodles
1/2 Ounce Fresh Ginger
1/2 Ounce Fresh Garlic
1/2 Ounce Soy Sauce
1 Cup Blended Ginger And Chili Oil
1 Head Napa Cabbage
2 Heads Baby Bok Choy
1 Ounce Bean Sprouts
1 Red Pepper
1 Yellow Pepper
1 Cup Hoisin Sauce
Mix the marinade ingredients: fresh ginger, fresh garlic, soy sauce, ginger and chili oils together, then add to the skirt steak and marinade for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
Add salt and pepper to skirt steak and put it on hot grill, about four minutes on each side.
Meanwhile, cook noodles in boiling water, stir fry vegetables in vegetable oil, then add in drained noodles.
Spoon six ounces of hoisin sauce over mixture, add salt and pepper to taste.
Remove steak from grill and cut into thin strips.
Finally, garnish by topping with fresh cilantro and anaheim chili strips.
