All That Makes Cents

A trip to the supermarket can really add up, but did you know some of the items on your list can double for other uses around your home? Now That Makes Cents.

WSVN -- Make your food dollars count, use what you buy at the grocery store for more than just dinner.

Combine lemon juice and olive oil to make a natural furniture polish. It'll be about half the price of some name brand creams.

Use a few drops of Tabasco sauce to numb a toothache. You'll save as much as $5 and get more than double the amount of a tooth medicine.

Polish silver, brass and copper with ketchup. Just mix it with water and rub it on. A 32-ounce bottle costs less than $3.
