Diane von Furstenburg made her mark in the 70's with the wrap dress. Today, Diane von Furstenburg is hotter than ever and now she's making her mark in South Florida with a new store at the Village of Merrick Park in Coral Gables. We'll talk to the designer and take a look inside her new store.
(WSVN) -- She made her mark in the 70's but even today DVF is in touch with what women want...

Diane Von Furstenberg says, "I started really young and designed for the woman I designed it for the woman that I wanted to become and did become and now I design for the woman that I was..."And Diane knows what women want...after all she's the designer behind the wrap dress phenomenon. Designed in 1976
Its popularity earned her the cover of Newsweek Magazine.
She says, "The reason I think it is is because it molds the body it allows you to feel good with yourself and its sexy in a very proper way."
It was hot back then and it's still hot today...it's on the racks at Diane's new store at Merrick Park in Coral Gables...designed to make you feel like you're inside a jewelry box it's her first signature store outside of New York City...
Diane says, "It's a place youre gonna find all these great things that are gonna make you look good and feel good and be beautiful..."
The fab new store currently carries Diane's new spring collection..each month the designs will change but you can always count on them to be feminine and fabulous just like she is...
Diane says, "It's soft and feminine but always a little naughty..."
