Designers are mad for metal this season. Whether it's gold, silver or bronze... it's all the rage. But wearing too much is not. Belkys keeps the heavy metal in check as she takes us Fashion Forward.
(WSVN) -- Dolce and Gabanna models can get away with looking like they're wrapped up in aluminum foil...but how can you wear this season's heavy metal look?
You can start by choosing wisely.
"You should pick one item to be metallic either your shoes or your handbag or the clothes that you're wearing..."
In other words keep it simple, like they do at Neiman Marcus.
Pair a skimpy metal mini with silver slip ons and a white top keep it fresh.
Looking for something a little more subtle?
Try a silver mesh off the shoulder top with white pants
And if you want to get attention --- big time --- slip into this little number
Of course you could always go for the gold.
Tie on a pair of sexy wrap around sandals.
Or pick up a gold handbag.

Shiny wraps
And heavy metal visors.
Over at Steam On Sunset, Designer Matthew Williamson dressed up his tops with bits of gold sequins.
And Alberta Ferreti did gauze dresses with beaded metal trim
"You've got a little slip that you wear underneath it.."
Just remember don't go head to toe. Just pick up some pieces or accessories with metallic accents.
