Wearing comfortable clothes doesn't mean dressing down. The sporty look is hot this summer... and the good news is, you don't have to break a sweat. Belkys Nerey takes us Fashion Forward.

(WSVN) -- So you like watching Tiger Woods tee off.

Or Venus and Serena Williams smash one across the net?

Well you don't have to be a pro to look like one -- Sporty Chic is the look of the season.

Corina Biton from Neiman Marcus says, "It's a trend that looks like you're going to the gym, but you're really not going to the gym. It's casual, it's chic, it's inspired by scuba diving, golf, yoga, type of sporting events."

From cool racing stripes...

To surfer chic...

To athletic inspired looks.

Run over to Neiman Marcus and charge it....

Pick up a jogging suit in your favorite color, and match it with a bright tee.

A hooded jacket is also a must have.

"A jacket with a zip front is a must for the look. Sneakers are definitely great and a tight fitted t-shirt with uh, Juicy pants makes the look ready to go."

Why not pair it up with a halter top in a Hawaiian motif.

For day, it's short shorts with a collared shirt...

For night a halter top, hooded zip front jacket and mini skirt.

Corina says, "You could wear it day, night to go to the movies, to go to a casual restaurant, to come shopping, to meet your friends for lunch, and to go workout."

Or take it to the beach at Bloomingdales in a Hawaiin halter top dress...

Shoe & Fashion Designer, Donald J. Pliner says, "Comfort is suddenly chic."

When it comes to sporty chic, Donald J. Pliner's got game.

The designer's latest collection includes shoes and clothes inspired by athletes.

He says, "When you watch the Olympics today, you see some of the outfits that are put together, it's incredible."

He adds, "One way or another we'd all like to sort of look like the Olympians."

Varsity numbers and racing stripes will take you Fashion Forward and you can complete the look with matching sandals.

Casual... comfortable... sporty chic... it's a hit..

Donald J. Pliner says, "Bottomline, sneakers and anything like this, it's chic."
