Give me an "A", "B", "C" OR "D". No matter what letter of the alphabet, wearing initials is in for fall. Take a look as we go Fashion Forward.

(WSVN) -- "Laverne and Shirley show open."

Laverne wore hers on her chest... Her signature "L" monogram.

Fast Fashion Forward to today and initials are on everything from clothes to accessories.

Melissa Goff of Burdines says, "It basically started with the celebrities on the West Coast, they had these custom made for themselves and now they're available for all of us."

Elizabeth DiPace of Wet Seal says, "Monograms are super hot right now whether it's in rhinestone accessories, pendants, pins on your clothing or even shirts, whether it's big or a small print, they're really hot right now."

Wet Seal has the A-B-C's -- like these rhinestone pendants to wear with your favorite outfit.

You can attach a monogrammed pin to your socks or skirt.

Or wear your favorite letter on a sleeveless shirt.

Laverne would have loved these red-hot boy shorts, which come in lots of different colors.

Elizabeth says, "You don't even need to get it with your initial. Whatever's cute for you, whatever has the color story you're looking for and is really hot for you. It's all about creating your own look this season."

At Arden B., they've jeweled up plain, white tank tops with rhinestones letters.

Elise Fiedelman of Arden B. says, "They're cute, they're fun, they're something funky and different."

She adds, "You can wear them with jeans, you can wear them under a jacket, um with a little pleated skirt for something dressier."

Or you can head to Burdines and take your initial pick from jackets long sleeve shirts

Or no sleeve shirts..

Melissa says, "You're going to find it in red muscle tees, regular cap sleeve tees, jackets, necklaces are an especially big item. They're not the full name anymore, it's just the initial."

Buy it with your initial or be as creative as you want to be.

Elise says, "I actually saw someone who had on a really weird letter, they had on a "Z" and it was for their dog."

To each his own.
