Say it ain't so... Time to say bye to summer, and hello to the classroom. But this year, go back to campus in style with this year's most Fashion Forward back-to-school gear.
(WSVN) -- Forget those black and white composition books, throw out those plain notebooks and folders too ... Liven things up this year with color... And not the Crayola kind.
Betty Cuellar says, "Orange, pink, yellow, blues, everything is trendy this summer, coming into the school year."
At Tous, in the Aventura Mall, it's all about high-end back to school gear.
Cute cases to store your stuff.
Or a bright orange satchel to store your schoolbooks complete with matching Velcro wallet.
Gotta have a backpack --- so whether it's wheeled or the carrying kind -- the ones at Tous come with cool zippers, shoulder straps... And the store's signature bear logo.
"Kids nowadays," says Betty Cuellar of Tous, "with uniforms, or lack of uniforms, they want something that's trendy and fashionable, and accessories are what can really help them do that."

And for your teens, designer Todd Oldham has an entire line of funky folders, binders, and lunchboxes.
Desiree Rambial says, "Even the composition books now have color. We've got purple, we've got green, we've got red. It's not just plain ole black and white anymore."
Burdines has this year's hottest back to school item: The messenger bag.
But if that's too big ... Smaller, lightweight bags, embellished with lots of color and logos will back to school basics, to set you apart this year.
"Backpacks this year, you're going to see newer colorations, newer fabrications, you're going to see fashion colors, browns, khakis, odie greens, you're also going to see a lot of corduroy."
