(WSVN) -- The movies may have been in black and white back then, but there's no denying, Hollywood's Technicolor glamour and style in the 1930's and 40's. Fashion Forward to 2003, make-up is mimicking that era's film sirens.

"The look if we kind of reflect back to that is really flawless looking skin with a glow to it. The emphasis is on the eyes and the lips," says Clinique makeup artist Nancy Glass.

At the Clinique counter at Burdines, there are plenty of new shades to choose from.

Nancy says, "The colors are warm tones and cool tones, which is going to make it great for any skin type because you can also build up drama if you go off your skin tone."

Try a splash of electric blue or violet eye shadow. Or paint your lips with rich red, burgundy, berry, or wine lipstick.

To get the look, start by lining the top and bottom of your eyes for pure drama.

"If your eye's a little bit smaller, you may not bring the liner all the way in."

Add your eye shadow, plenty of mascara and luscious lipstick... Match it up with a perfect suit, and you too can have that Glam feel.

It was all about glamour on this fall's fashion runways -- as models showed off their fresh faces made up by Mac's makeup artists. At Mac's Saks Fifth Avenue counter, the trend is femme noir and sexy.

The focus is on bold brows, eyeliners, and lips a la Bridget Bardo era.

"There's a little for everybody this season. I would say a little bit more glamour," explains Judy Irizarry, Mac Senior Artist.

It's all about matte lips, with no shine, and smoky eyes this fall... With a slight twist of color.

Bottom line...

Judy says, "I think if you've got great skin, show it, and put a lot more on the eyes or onto the lips."

Mascara and long lashes are also big this season, so break out your liquid eyeliner ladies. But experts tell us the one big tip, don't overdo it.
