Fashion Forward: Giorgio Armani

Italian Designer Giorgio Armani has some eye-opening designs this season, but the ones we're talking about aren't worn on the body, they're for the face. Shireen Sandoval explains in tonight's fashion forward.

(WSVN) -- His clothes...

Handbags...

And perfumes are favorites with celebrities and fashionistas.

Now, Giorgio Armani is branching out from the fashion world into makeup.

Armani Cosmetics Face Designer Tim Quinn says, "Initially they know the name. They know Mr. Armani's impeccable quality in clothing, furniture, chocolates, perfume, so I think people are drawn to the name."

The name may reel customers in, but the line hooks them.

The cosmetics collection has more than 200 shades...everything from sheer and silky blushes to exquisite eyeshadows, which come in every color you can imagine.

"Close your eye again."

Before you had to travel to Paris or Milan to buy it, but now the cosmetics line is being sold in just seven U.S. Stores, including Saks Fifth Avenue in Bal Harbour.

Shane English of Armani Cosmetics says, "There's been this buzz because we've only been available in such limited places."

He adds, "Once they got the word that it was coming, the counter was crazed."

In fact, Armani's crazy for color this fall.

Standout this season with bold eyes, and plenty of lip color.

Shane says, "You see a lot, the fall runway, a smokier eye, a little more finished face, it's more lady like. Strong lips, red berries."

"You have to have, especially for fall, some form of Armani red lipstick."

Head to the counter, where makeup artists can match up your skin color to one of 17 shades of foundation, which women are raving about.

Just like the clothing line, the cosmetics are light and luxurious and go on like second skin.

Shane says, "People come for the name, but then our product delivers."

Giorgio Armani, "making" up the entire woman, from head to toe.

"Mr. Armani actually is 100% involved in the cosmetics, so our looks mirror what is current to his vision."
