Horseback riding and deer hunting may come to mind when you think of the fabric, tweed. But this season, tweed is taking on a twist. The Nightteam's Shireen Sandoval shows us how in tonight's Fashion Forward.

(WSVN) -- Jackie O. wore it with style in the 1960's.

Fashion forward 40 years and the classic fabric, tweed, is making a comeback on the catwalk this season.

Melissa Goff of Burdines says, "Tweed seems to be a staple for fall season, however, this year, it's not quite as stodgy."

This may not be what the former first lady had in mind.

At Burdines you can update a classic tweed suit with a tiny weenie bikini top.

If that's too risqué, then try tweed in this season's latest micro-mini...

Or update the look with a pair of cropped pants.

Melissa says, "It's very updated, very feminine, very fitted, very flirty, very sexy."

This fall, the fabric takes on a glamorous feel, classy yet stylish -- here it is, in the graphic look of the season.

Or go mod in this pretty pink suit, paired with a pair of boots.

Whether you wear it under a sweater... Or with suede, think tweed this season.

Melissa says, "What's great about the tweed suits you see this year is to be able to mix and match them with different accessories, such as pearls, such as a faux fur trim."

She adds, "But then you could also pair it down wear it with a sexy bustier, a bra, it's a great versatile fabric and piece to take you throughout the entire winter season here."

Head to Arden B. For a new take on tweed.

Elise Fieldman of Arden B. says, "Arden B. has made tweed this season very wearable, very fun, not very old ladyish."

You'll say goodbye goody two shoes and hello biker chic in a cool tweed cap.

At Arden B. You can find something tweed in practically any color.

Elise says, "Comes in a bunch of different colors, in pinks and blacks and whites, in hats and jackets and mini skirts and you can mix and match everything together."

Turn one classic look into three, by mixing and matching...

Or just keep it simple... Either way tweed will make you the talk of the town.

Don't forget to accessorize, especially with a strand of pretty pearls.
