Diamonds may be a girl's best friend, but if you can't afford the real thing, there's good news -- this season jewelry doesn't have to be real, it just has to be big and chunky. Shireen Sandoval takes us Fashion Forward.

(WSVN) -- Missy Elliott and Madonna wear plenty of it on and off the screen.

Beyonce likes her "supershine" big and bold too.

Chunky jewelry is what's hot right now and very fashion forward.

Lyssa Flayman of Total Image says, "Chunky jewelry is really in. It's really popular, a lot of the stars wear it."

At Salon 46 in Hollywood, you can find plenty of big-bling.

Try on one of these beautiful beaded necklaces...

Or slip yourself into a bold bracelet.

From over the top rings, to watches... The bigger, the better this season.

Lyssa says, "The big watches, the chunky watches seem to be very popular now and just some of the necklaces with the black stones and red stones."

Chandelier earrings are still in style, but why not pair them with an over the top bracelet.

Or eat your heart out with this necklace.

Even hair accessories are chunky these days -- just don't overdo it.

"If you're going to accessorize with your jewelry, then I would tone down your clothes, and if you were going to wear something really beaded and excited in an outfit, then I would just tone down your jewelry."

Stephen Webster says, "This is the most expensive ring."

Ring in the New Year with one of Celebrity Jeweler, Stephen Webster's rings.

He made his name after designing Madonna and Guy Ritchie's wedding rings.

Now Jennifer Lopez, Pink and Christina Aguilera wear his attention getting jewelry too.

Stephen says, "I think nearly everybody that I've worked with has a ring, because my collection is all about rings really, it's kind of how I made my name."

Webster showed us his collection at a recent stop at Neiman Marcus at the Village of Merrick Park.

Check out this diamond Burmese sapphire ring -- it'll set you back just $47-thousand dollars.

Or lavish yourself in this 3-karat diamond pendant.

"All jewelry's expensive but I specialize in, it's luxury, really it's luxury."

From necklaces... to rings... to earrings... whatever you wear, make sure it's fun and chunky this season.

Stephen says, "You have to be confident to wear it."
