Now that summer is here, all of us want to look sexy in our swimsuits. But if your attire seems all washed up, it's never too late to make a change. In tonight's fashion forward, Shireen Sandoval shows us how to look your best on the beach.
WSVN -- It can be the scariest part of summer - how to find the perfect swimsuit.
But if you want to look like a fashion model, maybe it's time to consult a fashion model.
This summer, Elizabeth Hurley is making a splash with her own collection.
Swimsuit designer Elizabeth Hurley: "Its a kind of Euro chicy glamorous jet setty look."
With strong ethnic influences from around the world, these suits and cover-ups are the perfect pieces to make a stylish statement.
Elizabeth: "This is a top that I call a raj top and all this embroidery here is hand embroidered in India and this is some of my favorite pieces. It has a lot of beading that is Used."
For Hurley, it's not just about fashion, it's personal.
Elizabeth: "I have always been interested in trying to find clothes that women would really like taking on vacation and to wear."
From sexy one pieces to itsie bitsie bikinis, almost every suit comes with an accessory to match.
Elizabeth: "I love a lot of color in the summer and when we are in the sun peacock blues greens pinks oranges I love women in white in turquoise and I use a lot of prints as well."
But this season's sexy suits aren't only coming out of Hollywood. At Macy's, they're also steaming up South Florida.
Melissa Goff from Macys: "By far in a way this year the most popular style or sillouette we are going to find in swimwear is definitely a bikini and a halter bikini."
Not just any bikini, it has to be covered in bright and bold colors.
Melissa: "You are going to find a lot of blues, browns, different color combinations then we have known in swimwear in the past."
But one of the best parts about swimwear this season, it's truly a fashion statement of its own.
Melissa: "Whether it is bohemian, ultra feminine, very very bright or white anything that women are wearing in fashion that translates into what's popular and trendy in swimwear."
When you're wearing a bathing suit this summer you should really think of it as an outfit, you know, accessorize it with chunky necklaces and things like that.
