Even though the calendar may read February, it's time to really start thinking spring. In tonight's fashion forward, the Nightteam's Shireen Sandoval shows us how in a matter of weeks, everyone will be fanatic about printed fabrics.
WSVN -- This season, if you want to stand out, you got to go all out.
Joann Bertolino from Wish Boutique: "This spring it's all about making a statement, we will see lots of bold prints great fabrics."
At Wish Boutique, strutting into spring starts with colored patterns.
Joann: "This year it's just all about the color of the prints."
Brown, orange and even teal reveal something sexy. If you don't want to dip into a dress, try a chiffon top with floral detail. Just make sure to keep it simple on bottom.
Joann: "Keep it as simple possible. Wear bold prints and then put something classic with it."
From boho chic to sexy and sleek you can't go wrong. But if it's sophisticated you're shooting for, nothing works better than brown.
Joann: "A print doesn't have to be full of color it could be chocolate brown and ivory."
Or you can go for something neutral at Dolce and Gabanna's Spring collection.
Jennifer Talbott from Dolce & Gabanna: "You'll see khaki colors, browns, and topes, with a bit of infusion of purple and reds and some exotic skins, particularly python."
That's right -- what can be more exotic than snakeskin from head to toe.
Slither in style in this slinky dress.
Or make a sly statement with this must-have mini.
Even shoes are slipping into snakeskin.
Jeniffer: "It's about having a lot of guts and fun."
But if your not into skins, try a tweed trench with python accents.
Here, a lady-like blouse becomes slick and sleek with a touch of snake.
Jeniffer" They will mix up tweed with an animal print or tweed with a khaki and that is important to know, you can wear it head to toe or you can separate it."
Or you can really look like a diva putting sequins and snake prints together.
Jeniffer: "It's about being noticed."
If prints are a little much for your taste, lots of accessories are coming in printed fabrics too, especially the animal prints.
