When it comes to the academy awards, you can forget who wins what. The big question on Oscar night - who's wearing what? Here's the Nightteam's Shireen Sandoval with a red carpet sneak peak in tonight's fashion forward.

WSVN -- Oscar eat your heart out.

Forget long acceptance speeches. We know Sunday is all about style. So who are famed fashion designers dressing this year?

Fashion designer Oscar De La Renta: "I'm not telling."

Well Oscar De La Renta might not be telling who, but he did give us some hints on what.

Oscar De La Renta: "There will be some full skirts, some embroidery and some color."

In fact, full skirts were such a pick at the golden globes, fashion expert Kathleen Callusy predicts vintage will steal the scene again.

Kathleen Calussy: "You are going to see a return to elegance, this 30's and 40's influence that probably came out of the movie the Aviator."

But if old-fashioned doesn't make you say ooh la la, crafty cutouts certainly will.

Kathleen: "I think you are going to see some unusual acrogenous zones whether it's showing off the tummy or somewhere else."

Like Cheryl Crow rocking six pack-abs at the Grammy's, or Halle Berry making the shoulder super sexy.

Kathleen: "I think that the shoulder emphasis is going to be a big deal."

But for the stars who want to leave you craving for more - deep, low- backed dresses are always a "do."

Kathleen: "I think you are going to see some dramatic backs. in other words, if i can't make an entrance, by God, I will make an exit."

And the night wouldn't be complete without this spring's color craze. Brown and orange tones have been big hits in the past, but this year, Kathleen is placing her bet on blue.

Kathleen: "You are gonna see some ice colors, some turquoise, some teals and maybe a little bit of brown."

But only one stone will do when it comes to time to shine.

Kathleen: "I know that diamonds whether it gets translated into the gemstones or the embroideries, it's going to be everywhere."

And no outfit is complete without that one, must have accessory you just can't leave home without - your leading man!

Kathleen: "I think one of the most important fashion accessories is that gentleman that is on your arm."

And now that Armani has just opened up a fashion house in Paris, you will probably be seeing a lot of his dresses. This should bring a very elegant and understated tone to the red carpet.
