Dogs are more than just a man's best friend. They can also be a fashionista's best accessory. Right now, carrying a canine is very cool. But only certain dogs will do. Here's 7's Shireen Sandoval with a furry fashion forward.

In case you haven't noticed, small dogs are the latest fashion must have.
Eleonora Bonfini from Teacups Puppies and Boutique: "A lot of people run out and get puppies because they saw it on TV or because they saw Paris Hilton hold one."
Celebrities aren't the only ones who are fashion forward, meet Clowie Marie Sandoval. she's today's furry correspondent. Chloe say hello.
This season, it's not just about having a trendy tote to carry around, but a popular pup to put in it too.
At Teacups Puppies and Boutique in Hollywood, they're definitely seeing the trend.
Eleonora: "The Yorkies are right at the top of the list, Malteses, Little Clowie Maries are in, the Pomeranians. Chihuahuas? Chihuahuas definitely."
Also big this season: The Havanese, French Bulldog, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and Brussels Griffon.
But even though small dogs might be easy to carry around, the humane society of broward county says they might not neccessarily be the easiest to take care of.
Cherie Wachter from the Humane Society of Broward County: "They tend to be very expensive and they can have health problems because they are so tiny."
At the Humane Society of Broward County, there are always plenty of dogs to choose from -- from a cute Corgy, to a Retriever mix, to a Beagle.
You can even be put on a list for pure breeds.
This way, if you don't have the time or money to care for a posh puppy, you can always start your own fashion trend.
Cherie: "If you don't want a dog that looks like your neighbor's then go for a mixed breed, they're unique looking and they need a home too."
Make sure before you purchase a pooch, you do it for the right reasons. Remember, they are more than just an accessory. They do require a lot of time, work, and love.
