Just when you thought it was safe to give away all those old clothes, think again. When it comes to style this season, think back to the future. In tonight's fashion forward, Shireen Sandoval shows us how retro is all the rage for fall.
WSVN -- They say history repeats itself and this season, and that goes for the fashion world too.
From hair fads to red carpet dresses - vintage is the hottest trend in Hollywood and South Florida.
Stephen Lasker from Steam: All the different eras. They all have great pieces."
At Steam on South Beach, the store is filled with actual vintage and vintage inspired clothing.
From fabulous dresses inspired by the 40's to fabrics of all generations, it's all coming back from the days of old.
Stephen: "Everything that is designed today, is based on something from the past."
But don't even think about calling these trends ancient history, cause this fall if you want to be hip you gotta mix the past with the present.
Stephen: "The bows are very big at the moment, you got to have bows everywhere."
At Intermix, they are also feeling the blast from the past.
Haley Wasserman from Intermix: "Vintage this season is a feminine, polished head to toe look. its flirty, feminine, very whimsical and romantic."
These flapper-esque numbers will wisk any glam girl back to the roaring twenties.
Still not impressed...Tailored tweed paired with a cool clutch will make you look high style in fifties fashion.
Then, if something is still missing - top if all off with some dazzling details.
Haley Wasserman: "Whether it's the floral brooch or the open toed shoe, or the pearls, those are the elements that make it so vintage."
And for the hottest color to mix in with the vintage trend this season, go with green. From shoes to bags you can't go wrong.
