The holidays are just around the corner and that means many holiday parties. But if you want to stand out among all the sparkle, it is possible to look naughty and nice. Here's the Nightteam's Shireen Sandoval with tonight's "Fashion Forward."

WSVN -- Jolly and red may work for some. But if you really want to make a fashion statement, tis the season to standout.

Lynn Neldberg: "Its about a happy time so you do want to celebrate and you want your clothes to reflect that."

At Escada, you'll turn heads pairing jeans with a beaded top. Or for something more conservative, try a classic cardigan with some decorative detail.

Lynn Neldberg: "The detail is very important and definitely you can still keep it casual but make it very glamorous and keep it fun."

And to make sure you even catch Santa's eye, try a sassed up suit or a mini tube dress.

Lynn Neldberg: "We still have some great mini's and if you have great legs, than that's what you need to show. so you need to highlight you assets so to speak."

But if it's mistletoe you're after, a long sexy dress is always the way to go.

Lynn Neldberg: "Pick the thing that looks the best on you and a thing you feel comfortable in."

At Julian Chang they've done the traditional with a twist.

Julian Chang: "The little black dress is in, it's timeless and you can really add to it."

And we promise you'll look more enticing than anything under the tree, especially if you plan to light up the room in lace.

Julian Chang: "For this season you can really do anything, it's really about showing your individuality and showing your own styles."

To really get in the holiday spirit with your look, go with some shimmery makeup.
