Fashion Forward: Bold Prints
This spring if you want to stay stylish, then you've got to be a little saring... Or shall we say "bold." 7's Shireen Sandoval shows us how to get the look in tonight's Fashion Forward.
WSVN--Gucci had pops of prints all over the spring runway.
At the house of Chanel, prints were paired with feminine floral details.
This season many of the top fashion designers went wild for dramatic and eye-catching patterns.
Katharine Rubino: "Neutrals obviously a very big trend but you're also seeing on the other spectrum bright bold prints."
And not just in one style.
Geometric, floral, and paisley prints are splattered all over Neiman Marcus in Coral Gables.
And you won't just find it on shirts... The look is on all kinds of clothing.
Katharine Rubino: "I think if you're going to do loud, you should do loud either on top or on bottom. You're going to see a lot of that in like fun tank tops, tunics but also in dresses."
From a Michael Kors hawaiian print.... to a Zac Posen wrap dress with a paint splatter look... To a fun cartoon print... Going bold is beautiful.
Katharine Rubino: "You're going to see prints in like this season's silhouette. Prints are always sort of a trend but this season it's very bold and bright and fun."
Both men and women can pick a print at Rebel Boutique and Project LX on Biscayne Boulevard in Miami.
Here you'll find everything from dresses to denim.
Plus they're perfect to wear anytime of day.
Cynthia Noones: "You can wear them day and night, like with a dress you can wear flip flops during the day and then to dress it up in the evening wear a pair of metallic heels and off you go."
Psychedelic swirls, animal prints, and camoflauge can add a dramatic flair to any outfit... Just don't wear too much.
Cynthia Noones: "I think wearing it head to toe is a little more complicated for most people. I would suggest doing just one piece maybe the top and a plain pant."
Go for a mini halter print dress...Or pair a long sleeve floral tee with some skinny jeans.
Bold prints are all about making a statement.
Cynthia Noones: "It's in big time and I think everyone should get a piece and have fun with it."
Shireen Sandoval: "You can wear jewelry with a bold print, but make sure it's understated so it doesn't take away from your outfit."
